Xbox has always done a good to great job with backwards compatibility. Quick resume is quite useful (though a couple of games don't work well with it, particularly Halo Infinite). Also, I've always preferred their controllers. I just like the stick layout better and the general feel of them in my hands, and honestly I prefer having the option to use either battery packs or just regular rechargeable AA batteries, rather than being locked into a built-in battery pack.
