Depends on how close it stays to the source material.  Like RE2 remake was significantly improved but still felt like RE2.  RE3 remake did not feel RE3, it strayed to far from the original.

I want a RE2 type remake.

I loved RE2 Remake but never played RE3 Remake, what exactly did it do that made it stray too far from the original?

Level design.  Multiple areas i didn't even recognize because they legit are not in the original.  And the opposite is true, my favorite area in the original is just not in the remake.  Plus new characters, including playing as one, that weren't in the original.  Other than Jill and nemesis, it doesn't seem to share much in common with the original.

I still really liked re3 remake, but it was vastly different
