At least the Series S is actually an accessible price. With AI upscaling next gen at its final form. Hopefully another entry level system can launch alongside the likely $700+ main console and really be a great option

People have mentioned Sony could produce a TV version of the portable PS6 as a series S type system.

Wouldn't that, in terms of power, be basically a ps5?  Perhaps with better upscaling.  I could see it, but no where near a $400 price tag others mentioned.  It would still need 16 to 24 gb of ram.  Still feels like a $600 console.

PS5 but better upscalling, raytraycing, frame generation, Universal compression, general ML capacity and all the things that will make PS6 next gen. 24GB is the rumour for the portable, so yeah, maybe $400 is too low but it should be $100 cheaper than whatever the portable system is meant to be and maybe $200 cheaper than the main system.
