Look man, you are conflating arguments. Nobody said a 30 fps game can't be fun. What is being said is higher fps offer tighter controls. Both things can be true. 30 fps can be fun and higher fps improves controls. It isn't that hard to follow. Edit And where I agree with Handy, given option A versus option B, if option B has better/tighter controls... it makes no logic sense to go with option A, unless someone travels a lot or simply is that tied to brand. The irony of course being, Nintendo fans are pushing against fps being important, while Nintendo themselves largely target 60 fps when possible. There is a reason Nintendo pushes 60 fps when possible and is updating games and offering a S2 boost mode for S1 games. It isn't because fps don't matter. |
"Looks like shit" "30fps can go f#ck itself" "its not worth it" doesn't look like fun to me. All this thread have you all trying to throw under the mud the visual performance that doesn't fill all the checks on your criteria. So... yes, it really doesnt matter for me. If Nintendo update their games performance... Good! I will enjoy the updates, but I was just fine how it was before. For you that care for input precision and stuff, Excellent! Not all gamers follow by the same rules and that is what you don't seen to understand.
I have a PC, but it has been years that I don't use it for gaming, bc it is more confortable to play in every corner of my house, like laying down on my couch or on my bed. That kind of freedom and confort I wont give away for something that I dont care! It is really that simple
