The thing is, less graphically advanced versions of games can still have a reason to exist.

The Xbox Series S version of GTA6 will be graphically worse than the PS5 and Series X versions, yet it still brings the game to players who would otherwise not be able to play it. Heck, the base PS5 version will be inferior to the PS5 Pro and eventual PC versions, yet tens of millions of people will still play that version.

If it's not for you, that's perfectly valid. Most people will end up playing the game on PS5 and eventually PC, naturally. But there are people who aren't really fussed by lesser graphics and either prefer portability or only have a Switch 2, so there would be a valid reason for a Switch 2 version to exist.

Now, as to whether it does indeed exist, I'm not so sure; rumors are a dime a dozen and many don't pan out. We'll just have to wait and see.
