North American Virtual Console concerns: what happened?

But I usually check the new VC releases every week. There have been a few weeks when we got 4 or 5 new games, these were mostly C64, Neo Geo or Sega stuff. Then there were weeks with nothing or just one game. Also, the selection of new games has been disappointing, I haven't downloaded a new VC game in a while.

 

The problem is not only have we also been getting nothing worthwhile (Spogs? REALLY?) but that we never get more than two games in a week anymore. Sometimes we only get one. It's been that way all year too, save for the WiiWare launch.
