Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, out now on Switch 1 and 2

It's very evident with Prime 4 that it's production was very rocky and that Retro did their best to salvage what they could while reportedly being tied to design decisions made before they inherited the game.

I feel like if they go on to make Prime 5, with their own design from day 1 and taking the lessons learned from Prime 4, it could be great.

That said, I still feel like they managed to pull together an enjoyable game from the mess they were given, which is something of a miracle in itself.
