Not bold but just an accurate prediction. Most games are already GKC. Digital is growing, physical is dying.

The Helix and ps6 will not have physical games. Physical only gamers, in the next 5 years, will need to get over it or find a new hobby.

You underestimate my backlog. Many physical-only gamers already have a lifetime of games to play.

I'm excited about being on the verge of completing Breath of the Wild in The Year of Our Lord 2026. I'm looking at my backlog document to decide what to play next, based on release date or order in which I acquired the games: it's either going to be Lego City Stories on Wii U, Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition or Metal Gear Solid 2 from the HD collection on PS3. I have long accepted that I am technically a retro gamer at this point, and I have a better chance of winning the lottery than seeing a staff roll on the 500+ games (and counting) in that document.

I think the Switch 2 might be my last console. I don't have one yet, because outside of boosting Switch 1 games, I can't justify getting one with so many games I haven't even seen the title screen for.
