Is that native 1440p, if so very impressive for a PS4 spec game. Potentially the first we've seen?

Looking at that review its a mixed bag. Visual detail etc is PS4 level or below, resolution docked slightly higher, 30fps maintained more reliably when docked. Lowest portable resolution 504p under load. However it seems overall job done well within the limitations of Switch 2 and its CPU performance. However pricing is extremely high for this old game. I looked at what I was missing from my PC Fallout 4 to make it the anniversary edition and the only thing I'm missing is the creations bundle which is £17.99 but seems utterly pointless and badly reviewed.

However this feels like it will be a much better game when DLSS is applied and later patches to fix many of the problems like crashing and hopefully then it will be much cheaper.

I can see you can get the Fallout 4 Game of the year edition for £8.99 which is all you need really on PC. Paying £50 extra for the Switch 2 version seems too much especially as you don't need the creation bundle at all. What would be fair pricing on Switch 2 for this? I feel like it shouldn't have been anymore than £29.99 and perhaps discounted to £14.99 on occasion. They can keep the creations bundle to be honest. However performance wise on Switch 2 I think is fine yes you can play it on Steam Deck with more detail, better motion clarity, lower input lag and better frame rates but Switch 2 seems fine and I suspect it will get better with higher resolution DLSS output soon. I'm sure I will get Fallout 4 for Switch 2 at some point as its one of my favourite games but I'm not paying the early adopter tax. I've played a lot of Fallout 4 on PS4 standard console and absolutely loved the experience and Switch 2 seems to be overall an upgrade on that. Mind you, you can probably buy a base PS4 or Xbox One with Fallout 4 for less than the price of this Switch 2 version.
