I'm not too surprised.  I still think most Switch owners buy Nintendo hardware for Nintendo software.  Third party has never done that particularly well and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

And if the gap for RE9 is huge in Japan, it will be absolutely massive in EU and US.  I could see 10:1 in favor of ps5. 

We only have UK retail sales data right now, it was 13:1 in favor of PS5

While this looks a lot, is more reasonable than the Japanese results because of the huge difference in install base. On UK PS5 userbase is ~7 times bigger than Switch 2

While in Japan the actual number of systems in the market might be very close considering many of PS5 sales are bought there but actually resold elsewhere
