Been playing RE9 on both SW2 and PC (I play a section of the game on a 5090 PC, then my partner plays the same section on SW2.) The difference between the two feels like the traditional gap between consoles and PC for the last few generations. Like Skyrim PS360 vs. Skyrim PC, or Final Fantasy XV PS4 Pro vs. a GTX 1080 PC. Definitely doesn't feel like a SW1 vs. high-end PC situation (think Hogwarts Legacy or Doom Eternal, as canonical examples.

It's an obvious difference when side by side, but still the same experience at the end.

Also tested the game on my Z1e Rog Ally, and had to spend like an hour to get rid of screen-tearing. For some reason VRR wouldn't work properly, so I had to use V-Sync with a totally stable 60fps to get it to stop having the worst screen-tears I've seen in a game in the last decade (screen tore up into four bands.) When I did, I was able to get a pretty solid 60fps at SW2 comparable settings, without frame-gen. Only using FSR 3.1 @ultra-performance 1080p target currently, but might try injecting FSR4, to see if it cleans up the image further without tanking performance and re-introducing the screen tears. Looks a lot better than what I've seen of the Series S version, probably because of FSR 3 >>> Capcom's heuristic-based TAA.
