I suspect it will be way better with the ps6.  For starters the ps6 is going to be way better at RT than the ps5/pro, and upscaling is only going to get better.  I think RT is very much still in its infancy, I don't think we have seen anything yet.  

I think it's the only hope for the PS6 to even be $600, I don't really want to see a $1000 console as the base, if they can offset the raw power with this kind of techs, plus the diminishing returns we are getting, games can still look and run awesome without consoles price getting out of hand.

I still expect the PS6 will not hit as low as $600 regardless, but still, hopefully this can help as much as possible.
