NateTheHate said Santa Monica new game is a God of War game, but with Faye (Kratos spouse in the Norse saga) as the main protagonist. So it's a game that predates the Norse saga.
Should be announced this year and release in the first half of 2027.
Why the actual fuck would they want to not have Kratos as the main character?
"But Kratos has gotten X games" yes, and he should be the lead in every single one of them, not Atreus, not Faye, not Freya, not Athena, or anyone else.
FFS. The game should be great as they ever make them to be, but I don't understand why Sony needs to try to distance from popular characters they develop so much.
