For current genn systems sure,not for switch thou,that system is crazy cheap compared to current genn.

Covid helped it a lot to,and so did the massive 2 years shortages of the 5.

NEX playground is around the same price as Switch LITE. There are many entertainment devices that are way cheaper than Switch. You can find countless pen drives filled with retro games for dirty cheap and pretty easy to install now that all the TV's have USB entry. You can download Genshin Impact for free on your smartphone and be entertained for years.

The videogaming options outside the big 3 have developed a lot in those 20 years and with a way more acessible pricing

And you really think that 230$-400$ pricetag in 2020's is in no way more intimidating than a <150$ device in the end of 2000's? Give me a break and get with your facts straight
