The Steam Deck is somewhat of a hybrid system, too. At 25W and bright display the battery time is below 1 hour and it should be plugged in.

The SoC of the Steam Deck can't use more than 15 Watts. RAM + display included, the Steam Deck can't use more than 25 Watts.

How does a 25 Watts device drain a 40 Wh battery (LCD) or a 50 Wh battery (OLED) below 1 hour? That's BS.

AI: Setting a Steam Deck to 25W TDP is not a native feature, as the stock limit is 15W, but it can be achieved through advanced overclocking/undervolting (BIOS mods like Smokeless or PowerTools) to boost performance in demanding games.

Steam Deck at base 17W cannot compete with Switch 2 at 17W docked.
