The issue with ROG Xbox Ally X is that it's a terrible value compared to SteamDeck in 2022. SteamDeck was capable and cheap at launch (base price was $400). Ally X is really poor for a system launching almost 4 whole years later and costing $1000. AMD didn't advance in portable technology as fast as I hoped. Maybe RDNA5/UDNA will change this.
Switch 2 and SteamDeck (which is also a PC) were both great systems for the price and time. ROG Xbox handhelds just aren't.
