I'm sorry, but no 2D platformer is EVER going to make me feel the same way Super Mario Galaxy or Metroid Prime did. There's a certain spirit that's always been present in Nintendo's systems that's just not on the Wii U.

OT: This was a valid question at the time, I think most fans were already on that boat. 2015 in particular felt like it was about to end. Little did we know that magic was happening, we went from that point to 2017 which is imo one of the best, if not the best, Nintendo year. A year Nintendo showcased, they could not only make epic games, but really redefine the sandbox / open world genre on their first real try.
