So far, most of the gaming community and possibly a lot of the general public still prefer PS2 a little.
-Backwards compatibility with PS1
-DVD and CD playback
-Tons of third-party titles that never came to other consoles (especially not until after the 6th Gen)
-First-party games like Gran Turismo, God of War, Jak, Sly, etc.
-No microtransactions, installing or downloading of games
-Some shovelware (the most by far of the 6th Gen) but because there was no digital distribution there is way less shovelware than Switch.

Switch might end up being considered better by most. And if you care largely about Nintendo titles or the handheld nature it's an easy pick over PS2.
