Overall not a great direct, even though what was shown wasn't bad. Getting announcements for part 2 of the FF7 Remake trilogy and Oblivion Remastered were nice if somewhat expected. Also great to have a release date for Indiana Jones. Was already interested in Pragmata and RE9, but was hoping for the remakes of RE2 and 4. No real earth-shattering announcements like Halo or Horizon that have been rumored. Also nothing from From Software. No Duskbloods or Elden Ring.

Hopefully the rumors of a "direct sandwich" where a direct on first-party games pan out. The line-up of upcoming games is full of good and even great games, but it's lacking in "system-sellers" and "wow" titles. We need to see something more exciting like the next 3d Mario relatively soon.

I believe there will be a main direct last month focused on first party games. They have few announced games like Fire Emblem, Splatoon Raiders and Yoshi lacking release dates.
