A TV model as a low price entry device would be a great idea. However, it would have made more sense in the 2020→2022 era when many people were staying home.
A Switch 1 TV probably should have come last year at the latest. It makes much more sense for Switch 2 TV, now. Switch 2 has the ability to partially replicate traditional multiplayer in online mode using the camera. However, I’d still say Switch 2 Lite is probably going to be the priority, since traditional multiplayer is still the main selling point when it comes to many of Nintendo’s biggest games including Mario Kart, Smash Bros, Pokémon.
