I finally beat FFX HD on PS4. I have a lot of mixed feelings on the game, despite the strong story, characters, and music.
The Sphere Grid system just kind of sucks, puzzles, are annoying many bosses and lack of save points and unskippable cutscenes are grating too. I get it's a remaster of a 2001 game, but still. The game started relatively strong in my mind. Besaid is memorable, and some of the other locations are as well.
About a 7/10. I will at least attempt X-2 HD at some point. But I'm going to play VIII Remastered first. I know VIII has a strange battle system too, and I should not grind.
