Again they highlight the guidelines are in accordance to ratings boards that is the defining factor here and how other games don't have the same issue it seems more like Adhoc didn't know the proper procedure being a small studio rather than the guidelines being an issue.

Agree to disagree. Ad-hocs statement in response that directly quotes Nintendo's own response makes it clear this isn't the issue imo.

The fact that Dispatch was censored on PS5 JP is what really gets me thinking it’s more than likely a CERO issue— but yes, ultimately, this is all just speculation. I personally don’t buy the narrative that responsibility lands on the shoulders of Nintendo , as that fails to account for PS5 censorship, but that’s just my take on the matter.

BTW: I cannot agree enough with your point on GKCs. I’ve made a post on this in the past on here, but ultimately, if anybody does legitimately care about having full ownership of their games, it makes very little difference if the cartridge loads a digital copy on the system VS having the full game loaded on the cartridge— the cartridge will die in either case, and Nintendo’s not going to lock anyone out of owning a digital copy of their products after servers have closed (e.g. see how digital ownership is handled on Wii U & 3DS). If you really want ownership: buy a PC, download the ISO files, and save everything to the Cloud. That’s what I do with a lot of games.

BTW (pt.2): FaceBook Marketplace is the best place for collecting Switch games for cheap. I’ve managed to get like seven or eight first-party NSW games for only like $100.
