Nintendo Derangement Syndrome has been pandemic this past year ever since Switch 2 was revealed.

Genuinely weird how people can be so emotionally invested in hating a console/developer just cos it doesn't appeal to them. Incredibly childish.

What REALLY gets me is that a lot of those same people also turned around and jumped on Nintendo (Specifically Devon Pritchard) when Tomodachi: Living the Dream revealed that they have nonbinary gender options as well as same-sex relationships. Two things that they could easily ignore. Going on and on about how they've "gone woke," woke this, woke that, and it's all Devon's fault and she's already influencing them. Despite the fact that:
A) She's only been in her position for barely a month.
B) She's not even the CEO and thus doesn't get the final say on NoA's decision making, that's Satoru Shibata.
C) The game has been in development for years, LONG before she was ever in the running to take over as COO/president and thus had no influence in the decision - Nintendo has been and always will be led by Japan.
D) They promised fans as far back as Tomodachi Life's western release in 2014, when Iwata (Rest in Peace) and Reggie were still in charge, that the next game would feature same sex couples. 

They (incorrectly) jump on them for taking options away from players.

And then they jump on them for GIVING options to players.

Jesus Christ on a Stick, make up your damn minds and PICK ONE, you stupid, deranged grifters!!
