23k is how I imagined it to sell: Bad

Plataform exclusivity was never an issue, it was japanese tastes changing and moving away from JRPGs generation after generation. Even more so for a IP like FF with drastic changes in gameplay for every entry

Final Fantasy will simply never be a huge name again in the market, no matter is what platform it's being sold

I'm inclined to believe DQ XII will sell significantly less than what DQ XI sold (in Japan) as well
