I wonder how high the price is you would have to pay every Greenlander until most would say "yes" to be part of USA. 100k was obviously a joke but what's with a million or a few million? There's only so few people on Greenland that even this would be easily to pay for USA especially considering the importance for the future with the resources, less ice for ship routes and so on... It's obviously a fucked up tactic but I guess that could work for this asshole of a President. I mean, what's 50 or 100 billion if your GDP is like 32,000 billion per year.
I don't know those people from Greenland and I'm sure many are thankfully like "fuck you" whatever the price is but what's with the average person? They wouldn't even have to stay on Greenland and could leave somewhere else with that money (there will be at least some who would consider that).
When USA is threatening you to just take your land without giving you a dime if you don't give it to them for money, I guess a million or two in your bank account wouldn't sound that bad. It's obviously a difference to someone giving you money or just leaving you alone.
