Eventually yes, but they could easily squeeze Canada into submission long before that, especially with Greenland under their control.
Also the majority of Canadians live within approx 100 miles of the border. Heck the majority lives in the few major cities. Vancouver (metro), Montreal and the GTA. The USA only needs to occupy a tiny portion and it's over, because the majority of the Canadian pop isn't going to fight, or go hide and live in the land to the north period, let alone try and retaliate after that.
