Is nintendo the winner of the 8th gen or the 9th gen?

I highly disagree with this. There are clearly still generations that consoles fit into. What nintendo is doing at least at the moment is releasing their console of that generation halfway through. Because i want to know whats the consensus of which systems switch has beaten. So far nintendo has won generations 3, 4 7, and now either 8 or 9. Just keeping a tally of how many championships they have compared to sony.
