I have no problems with wars that last less than 30 minutes.  Iran and North Korea better take note of Maduro's fate. BTW, he was arrested.

The bottom line is: Don't mess with the US Army's Delta Force !

The bottom line is that Trump created a very dangerous precedent here.

Imagine Russia kidnapping Zelensky or China doing the same with Taiwan's government. Maduro may very well be an illegitimate ruler of Venezuela, but he was still the ruler of a foreign country.

Trumps action basically signaled to the dictators around the world that kidnapping foreign leaders is fair game now, so they can now do as they please.

Trump still only thinks as far ahead as the next quarter, long-term ramifications of his actions seem to never come into his mind.

Yeah, talking about China, they will have learned a nice lesson from this how to take Taiwan or at least kidnapp their leaders. It's already known that China rebuild Taiwan's government buildings and the buildings/streets around it in China to train their troops there.

Taiwan has obviously much better defense capabilities as Venezuela had (which seemed to be almost nothing at all) but Taiwan's government buildings are also very close to the sea so that Chinese troops wouldn't have to fly hundreds of miles over land so that reacting to a fast strike/raid would maybe take longer as it would take China to be already there.
