I have an idea if you want to sound like a country which just cares about the people and don't just want to steal: how about you let Venezuela decide how much oil they want to extract per year and you let Venezuela decide about the companies to be involved? And if USA and other countries will also stop the sanctions against Venezuela, it can be a rich country without Dollar signs in your own eyes.
That Venezuela will still get rich from this even if only US companies will be involved is just a side effect no Trump nor other Americans who support this care about. You just want to get rich from what other countries have.
What would happen if the next president of Venezuela which USA will just decide would against all odds tell USA that they will only allow oil companies from some other countries? Will USA just accept it? It wouldn't be worse for Venezuela so USA would just accept it as country which just cares about the people, right?
Btw if you want to talk about US citizens getting fucked by other countries you should maybe think about how US companies are worth more than all other companies on this planet avoiding to pay taxes in as example Europe and how you have more super rich people as any other country could dream of and still have so many problems for the "normal" people. Because in theory, every US American could live better as those in Switzerland and it's not the fault of other countries that many in USA have so many financial problems.
Trump also loves to talk about the unfair trade deficit between USA and other countries but he obviously "forgets" that this are only physical goods but many huge US companies sell high margin digital goods and services to print money. Companies like Microsoft almost don't happen in the trade numbers even though they collect hundreds of billions outside USA. That US citizens don't participate in this if they don't own shares of these money printing companies is your own problem.
So yeah, nice that USA with their own logic to count what's fair black mailed the EU to have more investments in USA but reality is that USA with their companies already profit more with Sales to the EU as EU with their companies profit with sales to USA. But let's just act as if the money going from EU to USA paid for cloud services, software, licenses and so on doesn't exist...
USA with like 4% of the world population controls like 1/3 to 1/2 of this planets economy/wealth/trade one way or another but guys like you still think that people in USA don't live the life they should because of others and not because of your own countries politics so that USA needs to get even more of the cake and the other 96% of humans should get less. Why even stop there? Shouldn't we go back to "the strongest will get what he wants" in a country? I think your neighbor should also tell you to do what he wants or he will just force you to do it. Wouldn't that be nice? Or is that bad because you wouldn't profit from it?
