This mash up of RPG elements with RTS spawned more game mods and even whole genres than any other game I can think of. The music is awesome, the character voices are quotable to infinity and the custom games are so varied and fun that you really do not need another game. Well… at least that was true when the original released. I’m still butt-hurt that the game I have spent the most hours playing really is no more. Sure there are ways to play offline and even online but with more hassle and less players. But what this game was back in 2002 in value of entertainment per money payed will probably never be repeated. Recommended for anyone with a time machine who still can experience it in its full glory.

I still play it weekly. Reforged's issues are mostly limited to menus and bad connection at this point.
