Well yes to an extent they do still buy it because the manufacturer is extending its life. If the manufacturer pulls it, they cant buy it. If the manufacturer lowers the price of the console, they extend the life of the market. So youre wrong.

not really... The xbox series is still on sale, and it's selling next to nothing right now. So no. The market buys what it wants.
