Just finished Prime 4.

Definitely a game with highs that are VERY high and lows that are REALLY low. And during those highs, it is every bit as good as the first three Prime games. During those lows - Yikes. (That God forsaken, stupid desert. So boring and so unneeded.)

Didn't find it quite as enjoyable or on the same level as Prime 1 and 2.
I've barely touched Prime 3 so I don't know how it compares to that game.
But overall, it's still a pretty good game that I'd recommend (Maybe not at $70 - Should probably what for a discount or a good deal).

If there is a Prime 5 (We'll see how this one sells), I hope Retro Studios takes the critiques to heart to address or outright eliminate what didn't work while refining and strengthening what did. If they can do that, I think we'd be in for something truly special in a Metroid Prime 5 - If that every comes to fruition.

Regarding this game's companions:

Spoiler!

Aww man.. I really liked them! Even Myles - Who the reviewers had some stupid grudge against that I still don't understand and think was WAY overblown.
I was really sad to see them go - I was hoping they'd stick around as Samus' crew because Goddamnit, after all she's been through Samus needs some friends!
