So the consensus is that the chances of Switch beating PS2 "naturally" are almost nil.

It would require Nintendo's executives to hold a "war meeting", all dressed in samurai armor, and declare that based on "Nintendo Bushido" they are compelled to surpass PS2. Then they would make a toast with sake and shout "Nintendo BANZAI!"
