Super strong month for the PS5 mainly thanks to Europe. If November wasn't so awful in the US it could've been close to flat YoY so Europe could very well end up saving the PS5's 2026 from being weak till November. The Switch 2 had a good first November being somewhat higher than the Switch 1's but it being that close is sign that its 2026 sales could be closer to the Switch's 2018 sales than this year will be for 2017 since some people who normally would've bought one next year already did so months ago.
For the Xbox Series it's truly dead now with its November sales being barely any higher than the past few months and even lower than January-March so the combination of the prices hikes and Microsoft completely giving up on selling it has officially killed the platform years before its successor is even out. It's getting to the point where I dunno why they'd even bother manufacturing it any longer since it's only gonna sell like 1-1.5m next year so basically completely irrelevant sales wise.
The Switch 1 was also down 70-80% and sold worse in November than its first few months this year but that's completely fine in this case since its successor is already out. It does put an end to any tiny remaining hopes of it beating the PS2 though since it is also dead now. Overall a decent November I'd say but it being lower in total than the previous few isn't ideal when a new really popular console has launched though that can only do so much to make up for two others completely dying. Hopefully the US has a better December.
