Famitsu Sales: Week 50, 2025 (Dec 08 - Dec 14)

Strong week for the Switch 2. I saw a comment about how there's finally enough stock for it to be freely available in Japan which if true is good timing and it looks like it'll do similar to the Switch 1's first holiday in Japan whereas in the US it's doing worse but better in Europe. The Switch 1 had a big drop and is below the 3DS's 2017 week again though this week is way more like what I've been expecting with the Lite making up nearly half of sales since with the Switch 2 out it's the only Switch 1 model that still makes sense to buy due to how cheap it is.

Also for the PS5 on the one hand it's only a bit over 10% down YoY but on the other it'd probably be under 10k this week and over 50% down if not for the new Digital model so man that model has really saved this holiday season from being a complete and utter disaster for Sony.
