Worldwide software sales/attach rates for the Wii/360/PS3?

Mifely, are you doing weekly attach rates there? Because obviously the 360 still trounces the Wii and PS3 in LTD attach rates. I think LTD attach rates -- particularly when you do align launches -- is the most applicable way to calculate attach rates, as the weekly numbers can vary so widely (the week Gears of War 2 comes out, for example, will have the 360 way ahead, while the next week may have the PS3 way ahead if Resistance 2 launches).

Either way, it's really hard to calculate, particularly because of Europe. What we do know is:

Media Create and Famitsu have LTD attach rates as:

1) 360
2) Wii
3) PS3

And NPD has the same ratio of

1) 360
2) Wii
3) PS3

This is true even when we align launches, and try and negate the 360's 1 year advantage, as systems see their attach rate rise the longer they are out. That's not a full worldwide, however, and I strongly suspect the PS3's strongest software arena is Europe: in addition, I largley agree (in part thanks to the release of Metal Gear Solid)  that the PS3 has likely been besting its competitors over the last month or so worldwide. Hard to say, though, because again, even Ioi agrees that the European numbers are significantly incomplete at this time.
