The American cultural upbringing can be a little strange to some; however, kids killing their own parents is not exclusive to the USA.

Well, mostly it is.

In Africa, Kids are like assets to their parents. A lot of kids will like to grow and look after their parents. It's hard to see a kid finding ways to kill their parents.
