Personally, it doesn't surprise me; the xbox series is dead worldwide – especially in Asia, Europe, Canada and Brazil. And some stores have already removed xbox from their inventory (UK/Canada/Japan..). And another reason, its official: Microsoft wants to release all xbox games on PlayStation 5 now/in future; they have no other choice. I believe that this Christmas we will see a new PS5 record - and at the same time a negative record for xbox. The Black Friday week in Spain and the rest of the world suggests it. After all the bad news from Microsoft (in the last 2 years), they deserved it ("AI" is more important than real employees, everything has become more expensive - even though M$ is by far richer than all other companies, many microtransactions in M$-games, game studios closed/games canceled, etc.) -.- |
The rate of collapse is still wild to me considering that it actually sold fairly well the first couple years. I wonder if this is the biggest collapse in sales for a major console platform in history.
