I played the games in the wrong order so P3 had a lot to live up to coming from Persona 5 and unsuprisingly it couldn't quite reach the same heights, but damn is it still good, both original and Reload. It is a bit of a shame that Reload stayed a bit too true to the original, not making very obvious changes like making all party members a Social Link, burrowing the 5 social stats from Persona 5 and adding more day activities, I mean Royal added more to Persona 5 in the latter than a full remake did. But oh well it still improved the gameplay and visuals massively and ironed out some of the issues, which was enough to make this already great, dark and epic game one of the absolute best of the genre.
