One of Trump's pet projects of late has been pressuring the state of Colorado to transfer Tina Peters, a felon and former Mesa County court clerk convicted of multiple felones related to election interference, from state to federal custody. She is currently incarcerated at La Vista Correctional Facility, a medium security women's state prison, in Pueblo. This is almost certainly so that Trump can release her. Since she was convicted by the state of Colorado rather than the DoJ, he can't pardon her.
