Great month for the Switch 2 and PS5. Both are set up to have a strong holiday season with the former selling better than its predecessor in its first year and the latter is doing amazing in Europe currently which is making up for some slack elsewhere. Europe in general could keep the PS5 overall selling really well for a while so compared to the PS4 this is a big advantage it has over that in the late part of the lifespan. The PS5 only has a couple million or so at most left to sell in Japan and the US is the only major region it's currently ahead of the PS4 so it's about time they start really pushing sales in Europe to reduce its deficit there since losing the top spot in console sales there would be really bad.

Also the Switch 1 and the Xbox Series are the same as usual which is interesting since the latter just got another price increase in its strongest region though its sales are still really bad and will get even worse next year. Neither will have much of a holiday boost of note since both are approaching death's door and aren't really getting pushed any more but that's fine for the former other than its chances of reaching 160m.
