Phew, this game is intense.
Even with the CPU turned down to low, I'm sweating trying to place in 1st with how twisty and packed with hazards the tracks are and how fast it all moves. I feel like Mario Kart is probably more my speed as I'm not the most skilled player, but it's nice to try something different for a change.
The constant stream of new unlocks is good at keeping the little dopamine hits coming, and incentivises replays with tangible rewards.

I imagine after the millions and millions he made Nintendo with Smash Bros. Ultimate he had free choice for the next project. |
Yeah he must have a lot of sway after his work on Smash, enough to get the green light to do a passion project that's fairly niche. I guess it's nice that Nintendo doesn't just handcuff him to Smash Bros and gives him this much leeway.
