I’d add a Joy-Con Grip with a second screen for DS/3DS emulation, and let Switch 1 (OLED/Lite/standard) work as a second screen/controller for Switch 2. Then, I’d revive Wii U, 3DS, and DS second-screen experiences—making it the most backward-compatible Nintendo system ever via NSO+.
As for the hardware? Make it foldable or at least offer a DS style variant. Nintendo’s foldable handhelds (GBA SP, DS, 3DS) always outsold Nintendos non-foldable versions. Time to double down on what works.
