Steam machines coming back in 2026 was really not something I was expecting to read.
Edit: after looking a bit more on it, unless it's really cheap I just don't see why anyone would want it over building/buying a normal PC instead... aside from the novel of it.
To me it feels like the Steamdeck has far more purpose then this, and it feels like it's the low end version of that Microsoft is planning to do for their next hardware.
I can't see it being a sales success, which also means pricing will quickly shift up for proper profit if they are planning to take a hit on it for a year or so.
