I don't think it means they will stop with releases on Steam/Epic, or they move up on Day and Date launches, but it creates incentives to purchase on the PlayStation platform. 

If they add crossbuy to PC and the games one bought on PS5 are available for them on PC 2 years down the road for free, I see it as a big incentive to buy games on PS5 and replaying games as well.

Sadly this is digital only if it ever happens, but at least I would personally benefit from the indies, if I buy them on PS5 I don't need to rebuy them on PC, might even make me consider a Steamdeck down the road to have alongside the Playstation.
