This is what you said. I said Trump won't do that because both countries have thousands of nukes. If you don't understand my reasoning, then you just don't get it. |
Duh!! If that wasn't obvious by my statement that you felt the need to respond the way you did, its very evident it was too complex for you to comprehend what I was saying. So let me break this down and make it very clear. The reason we feel we can commit murder without due process against a country that does not have the military might to respond in kind just like Iran, is because we have the military might to wipe them off the planet. The key issue here is that we would not do so if that country also had the ability to respond in kind to seriously hurt or harm the US.
Your initial statement suggest that people should not believe Trump aggression because he has not invaded Greenland or Annexed Canada. What is the difference between the 2 situations. One is that its way more complex to just Annex Canada or even Greenland compared to military might within south America which the US has a very long history of doing.
So targeting and destroying only Venezuela boats and threating the President of the country would not be considered an act of war. Dropping bombs on Iran if Iran could respond with bombs of their own would not be considered an act of war either. Just because the other nation cannot respond to US aggression doesn't mean its would not have lead to war if that nation could respond in kind.
