I got to think, do you think we can get a Halo dualsense? Playstation controllerz being green is extremely rare, we have the alpine green ones that are event exclusive, but we also do have a chroma teal dualsense being sold, and even as I think it looks really interesting, the chroma series is shiny.
I didn't think about it with Forza or Gears, but Halo is the franchise most associated with Xbox and the green color too.
I think that would actually be pretty interesting, and if done right I could want one myself, even as I have little to no interest on Halo, but because of the elusive green color on Playstation controllers plus it marking Halo being on Playstation, which we only had something similar once with Sonic being on Nintendo during the Gamecube era. |
I'd say it's possible based on the way things look to be heading. I'd even wonder if MS might make a 3rd party version of the XB controller for PS5 or PS6. Maybe even the Elite Controller. Sell special versions on PS just like they do on XB. They've also got XB Design Lab and that could certainly be interesting for PS gamers making custom designed controllers for themselves. |
They would need to get the haptics, triggers and motion features incluced so I dunno it that would be cheap, certainly would be an option for people migrating to playstation for the first time and having a familiar controller (analog orientation, dpad format, overall format, etc).
A themed dualsense would be the easiest route, but options are always welcome.
