With Persona, it seemed the franchise was taking steps to become more popular on Nintendo consoles a few years ago, but it now seems to be a franchise in steep decline on the Nintendo ecosystem, probably because its not a JRPG worth getting into as a Nintendo only gamer because far from every Persona game will release on Nintendo consoles, like Persona 4 remake and Persona 6.

It's just Atlus being Atlus and failing to capitalize the success of P5R on the platform.

Both P3R and Metaphor should have released day one on Switch if they really wanted to be serious about Nintendo platforms, but here we are... with a year late port with framerate issues and no DLC included that costs $60. No wonder why it didn't set the world on fire.

This, Atlus made the bare minimum of effort, and as a result they're getting mediocre sales.
