Yeah, the A1200 was too little, too late. Software support for AGA games was a big question mark back then, only a fraction of Amiga games used the new graphic chipset and not every AGA game was available both for A1200 and Amiga CD32.

The A600 a few months earlier also was a confusing model... not better and not cheaper than a good old A500 (or A500+) and a lot worse than the A1200.
