After the announcement of DOSbox pure a couple days ago, now comes the next retro announcement: The return of the Amiga A1200:

It seems to be an emulator running on Linux, but visually it looks exactly like the venerable Amiga A1200 from 1992, and comes with 25 Amiga games pre-installed, among them the recent port of The Settlers II 30 years after it's DOS release.

As A500 owner, I almost went for it - but '92, when it released, was THE year where I clearly saw where the future lies, in 3D games, with Wolfenstein 3D and Commanche: Maximum Overkill launching that year on PC.
